How To…

Here is How To…

Post a Comment:  If you see the word “comment” on the top right of the post, click on it and you can add your comment at the bottom.  If the word “comment’ is not there, just look at the bottom of the page and you should see a space for your comment.

Post Media of Your Event:  Either post your pictures or videos on your own youtube, flicker, or facebook account, emails us  and we will link it for you. If you are a teacher, email us and we will give you instructions for the You Tube Channel if you have video, or the photo account if you have pictures.

Get Jackie to your Event: Let us know in advance, a email us and then Santa Kelly or Santa Kathy will work out the details with you.

To Arrange to Donate Time: To be a Salvation Army bell ringer, or work at the Salvation Army & Toys for Tots distribution day on the 16th, just call 2-1-1- to volunteer.

To Create a Donation Box:

  1. Find your own shoe box or other box.
  2. Wrap it in wrapping paper.
  3. Download and print either this logo, or this logo by right clicking the link and selecting “save target as”, and saving it to your desktop.
  4. Place your donation box somewhere, a business, church, go door to door, or what ever you think would be good.
  5. When done, call United Way at 211 and they will help you with getting the donation, including arranging a pick up if necessary.
  6. Now enjoy the great feeling of knowing you helped another family have a happy holiday.

Tell People About their Donation:  Their donation for Kids Saving Christmas will go to the United Way, which is a non-profit 501c3.  United Way is graciously allowing us to use their existing systems to manage donations.  ALL OF THE MONEY is split between the Salvation Army and the Marine Corp Reserve’s Toys for Tots Program.  To help avoid confusion, please put “Kids Saving Christmas” on the memo if by check, or use the link above to donate by credit card.

What About Donating Toys?  We asked that too, but Toys for Tots told us that as they work with programs like Angel Tree, cash allows them to acquire the right toy that a child wants.  Cash also allows us to help both the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots.

Who Do I Contact for Info?  Via email, Santa@kidssavingchristmas.org
